gLite SDK

As a prelude to planning gLite 3.3, this page will serve as a reference point at we define the components which comprise the gLite SDK.

Candidate packages

Inclusion is based on the following criteria

• The package is required at buildtime by more then one gLite component
  • It should be non-trivial (no need to mention glibc)
  • If it is needed by only one gLite component, it should be 'owned' by the responsible team and does not need to be in the SDK
• The package is part of the external interface of a component/service

Note

• that there are some buildtime dependencies which are not packages (eg common-cpp) - they will have to be fixed.
• CLIs are not included
