3.1.0 PPS Update 11

Release date: 05.12.2007

Comment #1 [05.12.2007] Packages PPS-lcg-CE-3.1.3-1.noarch.rpm and glite-lb-logger-1.4.6-1.slc4.i386.rpm added in the repository. The rpm list of the patch #1544 and the metapackage list in these release notes have been updated correspondingly.

Comment #2 [10.12.2007] IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to an issue with the patch #1389 (rejected in production), please note that the patch in question has been rolled back (removed) from the CERN repository.

The upgrade instructions for the roll-backs are the following:

For the WN:

# rpm -e --nodeps GFAL-client lcg_util

For the UI:

# rpm -e --nodeps GFAL-client lcg_util
# yum update PPS-glite-UI

For the VOBOX:

# yum update PPS-glite-VOBOX

Comment #3 [14.12.2007] Updated tarballs have been added.

Preface

This update contains not only several minor patches, but also new GFAL/lcg_util versions and glite-VOBOX service to gLite 3.1 for SL4 (32 bit). Because a new version of glite-yaim-core has been released, all the metapackages have been updated.
