3.2.0 PPS Update 06

Preface

This is an update to PPS containing a set of patches with updates to GFAL, yaim core and clients, BDII, lcg-infosites and Myproxy. It also releases TORQUE server and TORQUE utils for the first time in SL5.

Mirroring

Changes have been committed in the following repository locations:

• http://grid-deployment.web.cern.ch/grid-deployment/glite/pps/3.2/glite-GENERIC/sl5/x86_64
• http://grid-deployment.web.cern.ch/grid-deployment/glite/pps/3.2/glite-metapackage-name/sl5/x86_64 glite-metapackage-name should be replaced by the affected client/services

The necessary repository files can be downloaded from the 3.2 PPS repository directory.

Known issue: the repositories are ready to be splitted per node type when we move towards the product team model without any impact to the users, i.e. repo files remain the same. Right now, the repositories are splitted per node type as far as repodata is concerned, but the location of the packages is common. The repodata should be the same though since we haven't yet done the splitting, but due to the way the repositories are created, the repodata doesn't contain information about all the metapackages. It could happen that if you try to install two different node types in the same machine with the two repo files enabled, it fails to install one of them. In that case, enable the node type specific repository disabling the other ones.
