Testing with different VOMS proxies

Job submissions and tests of SEs have to be done with various combinations of VOMS proxies. Different VO names should be tested:

  • Standard VO name
  • Long VO name (> 15 chars)
  • DNS style VO name

On the testbed we have the "dteam" VO and the VO "org.glite.voms.test" (long DNS style VO).

For a given VOMS proxy 4 combinations of job submissions have to be tested:

VOMS proxy no proxy renewal proxy renewal by WMS
no role
with role

Testing client server combinations

When new clients and/or services are released all combinations of old and new services should be tested. Below is an example where new versions of client and server for service 1 and a new version of service 2 are being released (e.g. new VOMS client/server and new proxyrenwal service).
