Communication between TIC and monitoring tools developers

• SAM - savannah project called ”egee-op-mon”, read-only
• SAM CVS access, write rights for faster including new SAM sensors planned but not set
• GSTAT - mail to roc-dev@listsNOSPAMPLEASE.grid.sinica.edu.tw, savannah project agreed but not in place yet
• SAMAP - mail to Rafal, but it has also own savannah project called ”samap”
• Nagios - mail to Emir

Core services failure summary

• monitoring tools - to avoid testing dependencies, take network failures into account etc.
• developers - to use common error message format in middleware

• monitoring tools - nagios will address the problem and avoid that
• developers : OAT does not intend to deal with requests toJRA, they probably need to be done in ”one-to-one” manner
• Consequently we can imagine in the future that some issues dealing with middleware can be treated by C-COD ?
