EGEE Items

Grid Operator Hand Over on Duty

  Primary Team Secondary Team
From ROC France ROC Russia
To ROC UK/I

  • ROC Russia reported that UKI-NORTHGRID-MAN-HEP (UK/I) had not responded to GGUS:46692 since 2009-02-26 (more than one month). Nick, however, mentioned that the Manchester site had just responded, so the case was effectively closed.
  • Nick asked if there was anything either ROC wished to add, and Cyril confirmed that there were no other issues.
  • Rolf informed the attendees that from now on, the OSCT duty contact is different from the COD schedule. CODs must take this into account (maybe needs to be in Ops manual?). Nick will follow-up with Romain.
  • Nick asked Helene if C-COD is expected to give at a report at these meetings. Helene: yes, when there’s something to report. The same place as regular COD reports should be available to them.

Sites Considered For Suspension
  • Nick mentioned that the Manchester site in the UK had responded, so case closed.

PPS Reports and Issues

Antonio had nothing to report, but later on mentioned that last Friday there was a release to PPS of:
  • a set of SCAS patches
  • a new version (1.7.0) of DPM and LFC.
  • a new version of GFAL and lcg-utils.

gLite Release News

  • Released 3.1 update 44 with CREAM to Production. This is especially useful for CMS & ALICE, so sites are urged to install it soon.
    • includes WMS UI critical fix for bug 48598.
  • Previously announced release of ICE plug-in for WMS has been delayed.
  • The idea is to release to Production the new version of GFAL & lcg-utils being tested in PPS on Wednesday of next week, with LFC and DPM versions later (if interested, see agenda for link to the details).

EGEE Items From ROC Reports

  • There were none seen by Nick beforehand, and none were raised during the conference
  • Nick reiterated the reminder that gLite 3.0 is being retired as of end of April (3 sites are still publishing the prehistoric version).

Grid Service Interventions

  • See the agenda page for those selected by Nick, otherwise please check GOCDB.

OSG Items

  • Rob was pleased to announce that all the OSG items are up-to-date except for two issues, which are under control.
