Site BEgrid-UGent (NE) has a ticket (GGUS Ticket-ID: 50950) which has been specifically raised to C-COD as there has been no response from the site. This issue/ticket has been in this state for over a week.
NE ROC to suspend the site.
Site MY-MIMOS-GC-01 (AP) has a ticket (GGUS Ticket-ID: 51135) where the site has been unresponsive. The problem is an APEL problem, and Vera requested that they act on this again. It might actually be a problem at the other end, but she had no way of verifying this. (AP sent an email last week saying that they are waiting for a reply from the central registration service.)
Gareth volunteered to contact the Accounting team to follow this up.
New function to configure the new myproxy server and clients.

Grid Service Interventions
Consult links on the agenda page.
Heads-up about a nominally transparent intervention at FZK-LCG2 tomorrow: 29-09-2009, 8:00 - 10:00 UTC. Due to the application of an Oracle patch, GridKa/DE-KIT's LHCb 3D/LFC database is at risk. In addition, front-end update to LFC 1.7.2-4.

REMINDER:Security vulnerabilities
Last month several alerts were sent to all sites about critical security vulnerabilities in the Linux kernel (CVE-2009-2692 and CVE-2009-2698). A number of sites in the academic community have subsequently reported root compromised hosts via these vulnerabilities. Yet, it appears a significant number of EGEE sites have still not applied the security patches - it is essential to actively and urgently ensure all the sites in your region have applied these security patches.
France and UK said that some sites have applied the security patches but still show up as "bad" in the testing. [Information provided after the meeting]This information (with details) should be passed on to the region's OSCT representative, who will then pass it on to the developers.
Call to encourage sites to move to the most recent version of WMS available in gLite 3.1, which corresponds to glite-WMS 3.1.21-0 in the gLite repository (known with the nick name of WMS 3.2) This update contains a new release of the WMS which is a complete redesign of the service. For a summary of the changes introduced in this version, please check these web pages: https://twiki.cnaf.infn.it/cgi-bin/twiki/view/EgeeJra1It/ReleaseNotes2597http://web.infn.it/gLiteWMS/index.php/information/38-software/59-320relnotes NOTE that at last week's GDB, WLCG agreed to request all WLCG sites to upgrade to this version by the end of October.
