YAIM meetings minutes

Thursday, 10th January, 2008

Oliver, Gergo and Maria

  • We decide to analyse what bug fixes are ready to be released and unless there are some critical fixes we won't release any yaim module for the moment.
  • We discuss future developments/improvements:
    • Disable/enable user creation -> Maria will work on this
    • service provider configuration by Stephen Burke -> Maria will take over Gergo as he is busy with other things.
    • Information system configuration -> clarify with Steve Traylen what he has presented in the GDB of 09/01 and see how this impacts on what Gergo had in mind for the IS config.
    • groups and roles, VO id cards and YAIM tools -> some actions are needed in YAIM. Decide how to integrate what the YAIM tool generates (new option? new function?), be in contact with Maria D and give Dimitar support for what he needs from us to implement the proposed solution.
    • Future work: exit codes, global pre and post function execution.
    • Maria informs about the new function list and acceptance criteria wikis -> Maria has to add man pages in the acceptance criteria. Also headers.
    • Maria should contact Owen to know if he plans to maintain config_file utility.
