Logo candidates for YAIM

A
Ok, the Lizzard maybe already used somewhere else. Anyway, to do things like other (animals) cannot do -like walking along the wall- represents its superior ability. The thin letters suggest its lightweightness.

B
The font and the flower support Yaim's nature : Simple and beautiful (maybe also the fact that it can grow smile ). The petals indicate the software that YAIM can manage.

YAIM is part of the sysadmins world

Which looks a lot like a TTY console

YAIM has character and is low tech, high concept

YAIM can go everywhere and do everything

YAIM's logo has to go where YAIM goes

Only a character based logo can

Lightweight, can be displayed on a console where YAIM belongs to.

YAIM is the future, can't you tell when you see this logo?!?

I
yak-yaim-logo-light.png The Jargon File defines "yak shaving" as "Any seemingly pointless activity which is actually necessary to solve a problem which solves a problem which, several levels of recursion later, solves the real problem you're working on." I think this describes the process of installing and configuring grid systems quite well!

YAIM aims to take the pain out of grid system administration. So, I thought a yak would make a good logo for YAIM as we no longer have to spend so much time shaving the yak!

J
Point out your installation!

K
It's a matter of handiness!
