Ok, the Lizzard maybe already used somewhere else. Anyway, to do things like
other (animals) cannot do -like walking along the wall- represents its
superior ability. The thin letters suggest its lightweightness.

The font and the flower support Yaim's nature : Simple and beautiful
(maybe also the fact that it can grow  ). The petals indicate the
software that YAIM can manage.

The Jargon File defines "yak shaving" as "Any seemingly pointless

problem you're working on." I think this describes the process of
installing and configuring grid systems quite well!
YAIM aims to take the pain out of grid system administration.
So, I thought a yak would make a good logo for YAIM as we no longer have
to spend so much time shaving the yak!
