Compute Accounting
Definition of the EMI compute accounting record. A compute accounting record is defined reflecting practical, financial and legal requirements of resource consumption, including CPU time, Wallclock time and memory usage.
From the
DoW: "It must be possible to use a common presentation and aggregation system for the accounting data retrieved from all EMI components. EMI will address the known UR issues, and will extend accounting records to include VO-aware storage usage accounting. The refined and extended standard usage record format, service interface and data transport protocol will be implemented in gLite, ARC and UNICORE middleware stacks. EMI will contribute thus to the definition of UR v2.0 of OGF. Usage of messaging infrastructure for the transport mechanism and the full adoption of the RUS standard will be evaluated."
As by Compute 4 DNA1.3.1 objective: "support for the agreed compute accounting record (UR)", due M18.
