the *Distributed Grid Aaccounting System* provides the functionality needed for the implementation of a complete stand-alone infrastructure for computing and storage accounting of national Grids and Grid Virtual Organizations. It provides sensors for many different Local Resource Management Systems, repositories for persistent storage of usage records at site-level or national/regional-level and it comes along with a tool, called HLRMon, which provides a user-friendly interface to display the accounting data. For more information on DGAS, please visit it's official web site: http://www.to.infn.it/dgas/ #DgasSRC ---++ Service Reference Card - DGAS CE Clients * Functional description: These are a set of daemons/utilities used to generate CPU-bound Accounting Usage Records for the DGAS, Distributed Grid Accounting System. * Daemons running: * glite-dgas-urcollector * glite-dgas-ceServerd-had.pl * glite-dgas-pushd * Init scripts and options (start|stop|restart|...): * glite-dgas-urcollector (start|stop|restart|status) * glite-dgas-pushd(start|stop|restart|status) * Configuration files location with example or template: * /opt/glite/etc/dgas_sensors.conf - Template available in the Documentation (see below) * Logfile locations (and management) and other useful audit information: It is possible to use syslog as well. * /opt/glite/var/log/dgas_pushd.log * /opt/glite/var/log/dgas_urcollector.log * Open ports: Sensors do not listen on open ports, but they require port 56568 (and 61616 for ActiveMQ) for outbound connectivity. * Possible unit test of the service * Where is service state held (and can it be rebuilt): Sevice state is held on disk within a spool directory containing unprocessed record information. The directory location ca be defined in the daemon configuration files. * Cron jobs: No * Security information: Nothing relevant to declare since this is client side and security is managed server-side * Access control Mechanism description (authentication & authorization) * How to block/ban a user * Network Usage * Firewall configuration * Security recommendations * Security incompatibilities * List of externals (packages are NOT maintained by Red Hat) * Other security relevant comments * Utility scripts: Nothing relevant * Location of reference documentation for users * http://www.to.infn.it/dgas * Location of reference documentation for administrators * http://www.to.infn.it/dgas -- Main.AndreaGuarise - 30-Sep-2010
