N Page Section Observations and Replies Is Addressed?
1 7 Exec Summ Please include how this deliverable differs from its predecessor.
KC 21/11/2012 - I believe the differences are made clear throughout the rest of the text, but I have now modified the Executive Summary to try to pick out specific differences more clearly.
2 7 Exec Summ "This proved infeasible, although the largescale follow-up survey is planned to go ahead before the end of the project."
Please expand this to explain why this was not feasible.
KC 21/11/2012 - I have added some more information on this now, clarifying this paragraph. See also Section 4.2.
3 7 Exec Summ "The coverage of the training has been increased during this period, with more products being addressed"
Please indicate the increase in terms of number and %
KC 21/11/2012 - I have added numbers to the Executive Summary, as well as a more thorough discussion of these numbers in section 4.3.
4 7 Exec Summ "In terms of future plans, work to produce a number of new online tutorials is well under way with these expected to go live in November 2012."
Is this still going ahead, taking into account the changes in NA2?
KC 21/11/2012 - Yes, a number have already gone live and others are in the final review stages. A further three have still to be completed, but at least one of those should be ready for review next week.
5 7 Exec Summ "An entirely new training infrastructure based on FutureGrid resources is now available for use by remote learners, and possibly also in face-to-face courses."
Rationale behind FutureGrid collaboration, why? what for? impact?
KC 21/11/2012 - I have merged this infrastructure sentence with the above paragraph on FutureGrid tutorials and added a few sentences illustrating the possible users and benefits. See also Sections 3.4.2 and 3.5.3 for more in-depth discussion of FutureGrid.
6 9 Ch 2 "To facilitate this, NA2 publishes its training materials to public repositories and collaborating partner sites, and the project encourages other projects to make use of these." >br/> Can we be more specific here - which public repos, which collab partner sites have EMI doc
21/11/2012 - I have added FutureGrid, EGI and GridKa. More specific details are given in Section 3.5.3, 3.5.1 and 3.5.2 respectively.
7 27 Concl "Some items identified in DNA2.2.2 have not been addressed, such as the follow-up survey to assess the longer-term impact of the training activities, but this will be investigated before the end of the project."
Is this still on, given changes in NA2
KC 21/11/2012 - Yes, there is no reason that this cannot go ahead.
8 27 Concl "Although the project is entering its final stages, a number of training events are in planning for the final period and even beyond the lifetime of the project."
Can you be more specific about the planned events post EMI
KC 21/11/2012 - We can't really be more specific at this point, but see the new Section 5.6 which addresses sustainability of training activities beyond EMI, and also the addition of a sentence on this in the Conclusions chapter.
9 17 3.6.1 Check incomplete sentences
KC 21/11/2012 - Sorry, I thought I had already edited this section for readability, fixed now.
10 - - FutureGrid: Do we know if the installed UNICORE product is being used? If the EMI tutorials have been accessed already?
KC 21/11/2012 - No, I have requested this information from FutureGrid, but to date I have no response. It would certainly be interesting to know this, but I think we will have to leave it out of the deliverable.
11 - - change EMI-1 -2 -3 to EMI 1, EMI 2, EMI 3
KC 21/11/2012 - Done.
12 - - Who will organize the training @ EGI Manchester?
KC 21/11/2012 - Emidio has agreed that if a suitable replacement is not found he will be able to organise this.
13 28 Ref Replace R1 and R2 twiki references with CDS URLs
KC 21/11/2012 - Done.

Any other modification, spelling or grammatical corrections, etc must be done directly in the document using tracked changes or similar mechanisms that allows the authors to identify which correction is suggested.
