ARC GFAL plugin

Description/work on ARC GFAL DMC

  • First overview of GFAL API to be used in ARC plugin:
    gfal_api_dmc.jpg

  • Initial prototype implementation started
  • Using file:// plugin as starting point
  • Building on SL5 with EMI1-RC4 libs
  • Problems so far:
    • gfal_open hangs when using SRM - hopefully fixed in next release.
    • gfal_opendir returns "unsupported protocol" when given srm:// url.
    • can only get filename (not creation date etc.) from gfal_stat output.
