Delegation (replacement for GSI)

Main interest of Standardization activity is definition/development of X.509 delegation service/interface. Following groups are currently working in this field:

EMI Execution Service agreement - includes delegation interface for delegating user credentials to Execution Service.

Migration from GSI to SSL of Security activity - leads an effort to remove dependency on GSI probably by replacing it with embedded delegation capabilities of service interfaces or delegation service.

SRMSEC: migration from GSI to TLS/SSL - develops extension of SRM interface to replace currently used delegation functionality of GSI.
