Release 1.5.3-1 (2011-03-31)

This is a maintenance release to fix issues found after the release of 1.5.2

Functional changes

  1. Two backward compatibility properties have been added to avoid unexpected changes of behaviour with respect to previous versions of the client:
    1. To allow the client to use sudo privileges to install packages, the property enable.sudo has to be set to True, otherwise the client will not use sudo even if the user has such privileges. The same behaviour can be activate with the --enablesudo switch of the etics-checkout and etics-submit commands
    2. To allow the client to isolate each configuration builds from the others, the property config.sandbox has to be set to True. The default behaviour is that properties and env vars set by a config can be inherited by other configurations.
  2. The default value for the property strict.compliance.check is now True instead of False. This property is used with the --repackage build option to include the result of the mock builds in the final configuration build status (if the mock build fails, the status is set to Failed)
