In order to relase a plugin:

  1. Create a new (clone) org.etics.plugins subsystem.
  2. Create a new (clone) org.etics.plugins.config component and add it to the subsystem.
  3. Update the plugin-list.xml and tag it in SVN matching the new subsystem's version number.
  4. If there are any new plugins you need to add them to the subsystem and select the version.
  5. If there are any updated plugins you need to select the new version.
  6. Lock the subsystem.
  7. Build the org.etics.plugins subsystem to the permanent repository, building it with a source package, as described in the Plugin testing section.
  8. The new version will put the plugin-list.xml here and it can be found by the ETICS client
  9. If the current client is using an older plugin version, update the client version: modify "pluginsRelease" value in the file pointed by /afs/cern.ch/project/etics/repository/etics-client-setup.py
