In this first QA report the idea is to present the current status of the:

• Minimum Documentation Requirements
• Summary of QA activities carried out during the first three months of the project.
  • Status of the documents that are part of the SQAP.
  • Status of the guidelines to be prepared by SA2.

Minimum Documentation Requirements

NOTE that this section depends on the approval of the SQAP that describes the Minimum Documentation Requirements. This means that the list below may be modified after the approval of the SQAP.

This section identifies the documentation governing the development, verification, validation, use and maintenance of the software.

The Minimum Documentation Requirements for the software components and services are:

• Software Requirements Specifications
• Software Design Description
• Software Verification and Validation Plan
• Software Verification and Validation Report
• User Documentation
• Installation Guide
• Troubleshooting guide

SA2.2 should check that the mentioned documents are available and up to date for each of the EMI software components. The following table should be completed for the first periodic QA report (in progress).

Logbook

• Status on Minimum Required Documentation started already on 18.06.2010. Feedback has been gathered and completed since then.
• SA2.3 contacted to get feedback from Availablity of Metrics on 28.07.2010.
• Guidelines responsibles contacted to get status of Guidelines on 31.08.2010.
• TOC sent to Alberto on 31.08.2010. EMI-DSA2.3.1-QAReport-v1_0.doc
• v. 1_1 ready for reviews sent on 03.09.2010.
• Follow up the evolution of the QA report in the DSA2.3.1 twiki.
