The QA report of the first year of the project will present an update on the following issues:

• Status of the Minimum Required Documentation.
• Summary of QA activities carried out during the first year of the project.
  • Status of the documents that are part of the SQAP.
  • Status of the SA2 policies.
• Results of the Documentation Review

Minimum Documentation Requirements

The Minimim Documentation Requirements have been updated with respect to what it is described in the SQAP. The Documentation Policy has been recently approved and the following documents are defined as mandatory for EMI-1:

• General Documentation
  • Release Notes
  • Functional description
• User Documentation
  • User guide
  • Client Installation and Configuration
• System Administrator Documentation
  • System Administrator Guide
  • Service Reference Card

A Documentation Team has been defined with members of SA2 and NA2 to review the documents provided by PTs in the Documentation Tasks. The approach is to go through the different EMI-1 release tasks and check the links provided under the Documentation field and also evaluate the Release Notes fields. The result of the review is tracked in this survey and results will be summarised and presented in the QA report at the end of the review.

Results of the Documentation Review

A more detailed documentation review is being carried out. A first analysis has been included in the deliverable. A second analysis is being done since some documents have been updated since EMI 1 has been officially released. Tasks are being opened in the EMT tracker for missing or outdated documentation. A link to the detailed report will be included here.
