UNICORE WSRFlite (part of USE) Test Plan

Service/Component Description

UNICORE WSRFlite is the core part of the UNICORE Services Environment. It is an internal component that provides a hosting environment for services. It provides support for SOAP, REST and WSRF web services and is used to implement all the UNICORE web services (UAS-Compute, UAS-Data, OGSA-BES, etc).

It consists of several modules (core, WSRF, REST).

Deployment scenarios

USE is not deployed separately, it is used solely as an internal component of the UNICORE/X server.

Unit/Regression/Functionality tests

USE has an extensive automated test suite which is run on each build. This test suite includes unit, functionality and regression tests. The results are available on the UNICORE build server, and links to these results are provided in the testing reports.

Integration tests

Since USE is an internal component within UNICORE/X, the integration with UNICORE/X is tested as part of the UNICORE/X automated unit test suite.
