Developers Env Setup

• (image) cronjob definitions under: /etc/etics/cron_task.sh | cron_task.cron
  • poweroff at 03:00
  • execution of cron_task.sh at 05:00
  • in order to stop periodic shutdown / reinstallation the cronjob lines should be edited: crontab -e ...
• (hypervisor) watchdog needed for periodic node start: /var/xen/mnt/monitor_VM.sh | VMX.list
• (hypervisor) set to 'Revert' to snapshot after poweroff of the image

• doIT.sh definition available under: http://eticssoft.web.cern.ch/eticssoft/internal/public/config/ETICS_testing/continuous_test/FQDN_HOSTNAME/doIT.sh
• install_configure_importData.sh script fetched from: http://eticssoft.web.cern.ch/eticssoft/internal/public/dist/Release/pre-production/
• configuration files present under: /afs/cern.ch/project/etics/internal/public/config/ETICS_testing/config/FQDN_HOSTNAME/etics.server.conf

Problem(s)

• watchdog not restarted automatically upon the hypervisor restart
