Release Checklist

This page presents the list of items, which should be verified before the release/host is deployed into the production when only some packages are updated:

1. Stop Etics & etics-repository (with http://etics-repository.cern.ch:8080/repository/services/RepositoryService?method=startShutDown )
2. Update the yum repo file.
3. Execute yum update or rpm -Uhv.
4. Configure again the etics.server.conf files
5. Run configure.sh script.
6. Clean tomcat cache (rm -rf /usr/share/tomcat5/webapps/* & rm -rf /usr/share/tomcat5/work/Catalina/localhost/*)
7. Restart tomcat
8. Restart machine if needed.
9. Disable yum repo file
