Comment:
This error is correct. There are indeed two different jaf modules dependencies used in the org.etics build tree, one is a component in the Engineering repository (5f78f77c-48ed-43ea-8ccc-caf1555c77cd) used for example by etics-administration-web-application_R_1_4_3-1 and the other one is in the ETICS repository (fc79a979-f5bc-4915-97bd-60441718377a) and used for example by etics-build-system-webservice_R_1_7_15_1. The ETICS client doesn't support the use of two modules with the same name. This is a general limitation of the ETICS data model. However, the etics-build command should not crash because of this error in the checkout phase. This has been fixed in the latest 1.5.0-1

    • This is correct, the checkout info page reports the final time and a list of the packages that have been installed or tried to install. In this case there is only the final time report (-- AlbertoDiMeglio - 14-Dec-2010)
    • Update: in the latest 1.5.0-1 the page is called Execution info and shows in addition: the raw logs, the Errors and the Warnings. If no packages have been installed, it says so explicitly (-- AlbertoDiMeglio - 15-Dec-2010)
  • the checkout log of all Unknown modules have the same information repeated with all the version conflicts
    • This is currently expected, the Unknown modules are the dependencies of the same failed component, which have not been resolved, since one of them failed and the process was stopped, they share the same log. To avoid this use the --continueonerror flag to force continuing the execution (-- AlbertoDiMeglio - 14-Dec-2010)
