Magnet orientation

• The magnets are aligned such that a positive charged particle entering FASER will bend downwards

Field Measurements

Magnet 1 (1m long) (PXMDMCAHAC-CR000001)

• A quick look at the field map in FASER_filled_cylinder shows that this contains 29 measurement points in the transverse (x-y) plane as seen here, and for each of these a very fine set of measurements in the longitudinal direction (z) is taken. Plots of the 3 measured field components at each point, as a function of z can be seen in the following: Bx, By, Bz.
