GEO database
This page lists metadata of all available mineralogical, geochemical, geomechanical and petrophysical data sets that are managed with the
geo data management plan and acquired as part of the Future Circular Collider study.
It serves tracking the status of sample analysis progress and provides authorised project members with information about each data set.
- Data set identifier is the data set identifier in format
LLL-YYMMDD
with a hyperlink to the cernbox folder of that data set. NOTE: The link only works for project members who are part of the cernbox-project-fccgeo-{readers,writers,admins}
egroups
- Digital Object Identifier (DOI) is an identifier that links to the published data set on Zenodo. Such an identifier is only available, after publication of the data set.
- Title describes the data set
- Version indicates the current version of the data set in format
Major.Minor
. The published version always carries the minor version number 0. This means that in the table, the same data set can occur multiple times, if a data set has been published on Zenodo
- Status is one of
IN WORK
, RELEASED
, INVALID
.
- Organisation is the organisation that created and manages this data set.
- Contact provides the name of the person with a hyperlink to an e-mail form that permits contacting the organisation who is in charge of this specific data set.
- Type denotes the physical format of the materials that are at the origin of the data set, e.g. a cylindrical borelog
- Source indicated from which organisation or project the material or raw data information has been obtained.
- Location N/E indicates the geographical coordinates of the place from which the material was taken in northern/eastern degree format. A hyperlink leads directly to a map that shows that location. The format of the hyper link is
https://gis.cern.ch/?coords=[[northern,eastern]]
([

bracket to avoid that Twiki creates a spurious link).
- Description provides further information about that data set.
- Last update indicates the last modification of the data (e.g. analysis carried out) in format
YYYY-MM-DD
. A hyperlink permits downloading the data set Metadata.ods
file, which is public.
