Recruitment authorization process

New requests as well as extension or contract modification requests related to a FCC Collaborator to be charged on a FCC budget code must be sent to fcc.secretariat [at] cern.ch.

Recruitment authorization process for resources selected outside Committee

Approval process for GPRO:

  • The process is initiated by the requestor who contacts the FCC secretariat for the preparation of the invitation letter.
  • The FCC secretariat checks the agreement form the pillar and activity leaders, prepares the invitation letter and seeks the signature of the project leader.
  • The project leader arbitrates and validates the invitation letter.
  • The FCC secretariat gets the agreement of the Director General who signs the invitation letter.
  • The FCC secretariat completes the HR process. Information is given to the FCC resources office, the pillar and activity leaders.

Approval process for TEMP:

  • The process is initiated by the requestor who contacts the FCC secretariat.
  • The FCC secretariat gets the approval of the Study Leader.
  • The requestor submit the request via the EDH document 'Demande de travail temporaire (DTEMP)'.
