Short description: Mono-energetic electrons with kinetic energy equal to 10 keV, 15 keV, 100 keV and 1
MeV are shot isotropically in a 4pi solid angle from a point source placed in a spherical liquid water (defined as Geant4 NIST "G4_WATER" material) volume. At each simulation step, the energy deposition is randomly distributed along the step; the radial distribution of energy deposition from the emission point is then recorded in a histogram with a weight equal to the energy deposition value collected in the step. Radius values are scaled to the CSDA range (r0) of the electron at the selected incident energy (E0).The Dose Point Kernel (DPK) distribution is then normalized to the number of incident electrons, to the selected histogram bin width and to the incident kinetic energy value.
