Access Point 1 - ATLAS

My experience for accessing ATLAS and the services areas around Point 1. Getting access to ATLAS means: spending 45 minutes with a web-based security course, pass the exams (in less than three trials unless you want to suffer the shame of being visited by the responsible in order to evaluate your capabilities), ask for permission via the EDH, wait for approval and (IMPORTANT!) wait till next day to access unless you want to spend one useless ride to the ATLAS site since the access grants are renewed at midnight. If you dont wait till next day (e.g. the author) you will only be allowed to access the tunnel via the corresponding lift and you will not be able to open the door connecting the service area with the ATLAS cavern because since last month they are closed and also ask for identification. So, if you are in a hurry, take the course at least 3 days before the day you need to go down. (Nevertheless, some times the identification system of the underground doors is broken, workers put a stone to prevent them from closing, and the impatient author is able to visit the cavern).
