Powering test - Sector 78 - Tuesday 15th

Done on Tuesday 15.05.2007

9:30	Test start on D2 – QH on.
9:40	Up to ~90A apparently without QPS protection – Actually It was not the case.
15.24	QH enabled for RD2.L8, QPS interlock problem on D2 understood. Only the displayed ref. voltage was a sum of the voltage picked up from the two apertures instead of a difference. At the level of protection the signal was right.
15:34	PCC start on D2 - up to 200A at 16:00
17:30	Loss of Cryo-Start and Cryo-Maintain due to a hardware intervention. Physical cryo conditions were stable. Signals recovered after few minutes.
16:23	PCC for D2 finished successfully
17:40	HQ of RQ4.L8 on – Reiner changed
17:50	Still problems on Q4 – Picked voltage exceed 20mV when PC tries to start up – QPS trips the PC.
19:00	Tests end

Comments: Note that next 16th May, there will not be powering tests and the PIC interface tests will take place as well as an intervention of the geometers in the UA27 along the day.

Note as well that next 18th a WiFi intervention will take place in the morning. During this intervention a lost of the signal is foreseen during about 15 minutes.
