Enviromental operational conditions for tape equipment

Purpose

This page collects the requirements from all vendors for enviromental conditions in a room with tape equipment.

Details

For tape drives and libraries only the operating conditions are shown in this table. For non-operating (storage) information, see the source.

For tape media, long term archive operating conditions are shown in this table. This is because in a large archive, it is common that tapes are not accessed for a year or more. For more details, see the source.
