Analysis of the Poll

We ran a user survey to assess the preferences, complaints and desires of HEP information system users. Over about 6 weeks, from April 30 2007 to June 11 2007, we collected 2115 answers. Preliminary results of the poll are shown in PollResults. Guidelines were agreed for the analysis of the poll. This will focus on four lines, each aiming to produce a different document:

• 1 PollResultsFirstSummary: A first article summarising the results of the poll, to be followed up in the corresponding page. [Note. This is completed]
• 2 PollResultsDistilledList: A distilled list of user wishes, created along the guideline in the corresponding page. [Note. This hibernated]
• 3 PollResultsUserRequirements: Technology choice meets distilled list. To be followed up once the first part coalesces. [Note. This hibernated]
