First results of the Poll

The focus of this article is to demonstrate the predominance of in-house service, in HEP information systems, as opposed to commercial alternatives. During editing this has been extended to include preferred features of present and future systems, as well as some of the most inspiring full-text answers.

The final version of Information Resources in High-Energy Physics: Surveying the Present Landscape and Charting the Future Course appeared as arXiv:cs.DL 0804.2701 and all material is also attached to this page.
