LCG Grid Deployment - gLite Pre Production Services - PPS-CERN Admin Procedures

The INSTALL_ROOT path of the AFS UI is under 

/afs/cern.ch/project/gd/egee/glite/
For every installation you should create a new directory. So far the naming scheme has been ui_PPS_glite$VERSION_STRING for instance ui_PPS_glite3.0_UPDATE16 or ui_PPS_glite3.0_slc4.

Follow the instruction for the production UI and remember that for the PPS AFS UI the INSTALL_ROOT is different, and that you do not need to synchronize the shared volume as it is installed on a writeable partition.

The CA certificates and revocation lists are shared with the production UI.
