The ATLAS Site Status Board: automating ATLAS Computing Operations

The Site Status Board (SSB) is a framework to monitor the overall status of the Experiments distributed computing activities in the computing sites.
The ATLAS Experiment SSB stores the information from all sites involved in the processing of ATLAS data, making possible to have the global picture of the activities organized by specific criteria. In the ATLAS SSB we have created different views where downtimes, data transfer and data processing efficiencies are aggregated to correlate errors between storage and computing resources. Status of the sites as set by the ATLAS Shifters team is also recorded. History of those data is available to compute availability and reliability from the ATLAS perspective.
Starting from the monitoring information we have developed, integrated in the ATLAS SSB, an automatic infrastructure for sites exclusion and recovery from the various computing activities on the basis of dynamic flexible policies, to simplify the work of the shifters, making ATLAS computing operations more sustainable.
The infrastructure architecture, the implementation details, the results achieved, and the future plans are presented in this contribution.
