dCache at Bari endpoint

Same test than thursday, with same result: 2 processes out of 10 cannot terminate successfully. Origin of the problem (after Giacinto explanation) is not the SRM implementation, but the nameserver. The nameserver has implemented a code which simulates the access to a file system. The read and write operations are simulated by reading and writing entries on a database. When these operations are done simultaneously the DB can have problems. Giacinto is interacting with the developers. Tests suspended until wednesday.

Ongoing activity. Run with 10 parallel processes, making 100 ptp each, stopped due to some problems with CHIMERA (stopped at 14:30).

Observed an interesting feature of dCache: after a ptp request (even if successful) if one makes an Ls of the file name, it doesn't exist. This is different wrt Castor and StoRM: there, after making a ptp request, the corresponding SURL is listed with Ls
