General tutorials

The FTS tutorial is divided into several parts - an introduction, service admin, service installation and confiuration and tier-2 specific.

  1. FTS tutorial overview slides: FTS_tutorials_overview.ppt.
    Brief introduction to the various tutorials.
  2. FTS software and service administration: FTS_admin_tutorial.ppt
    More detailed tutorial describing the server structure and common operational problems.
  3. FTS installation and confiiguration tutorial: FTS_installation_and_configuration.ppt
    Installation overview and common configuration parameters. (Not a detailed description of the YAIM installation).
  4. FTS associated-site administration tutorial: FTS_Administration_for_Tier-2s.ppt
    Channel overview and control for sites involved in the transfer network but not running an FTS server.

Fabric-specific tutorials

  1. Tutorial describing Quattor integration with FTS. TODO.
