Dear colleagues,

The second Joint OSG and EGEE Operations Workshop will be held at CERN on 19th and 20th of June.

The idea of the workshop is to analyze the experience accumulated with the present operations procedures, and to elaborate on the plans for continuous interoperation at all levels of the infrastructure between EGEE, OSG and other grids. The intention is to have a similar workshop format to the previous ones, with a plenary the first morning, and then to split into parallel working sessions to follow specific issues.

We will specifically cover the status and upcoming needs for the WLCG VOs, expectations and operations for non-WLCG VOs and for bridging the grid infrastructures. Other topics will include the details of the operational procedures and interfaces, testing and cross validation software, ongoing testing of the interoperability of new software releases etc.

Please forward this announcement as needed.

The provisional agenda and logistics for the meeting will be distributed later this week.

With regards,

Maite Barroso, Ian Bird, EGEE SA1 Leigh Grundhoefer and Doug Olson, OSG Operations
