---++ Adding a new VO with yaim

*Note*: this currently is not possible,
as each VO normally has more than one RB, and different per VO,
which currently is not supported by YAIM.

---++ Adding a new VO without yaim

   * Edit the =site-info.def= file and add the new VO parameters as a reminder for future AFS UI releases.

   * Add (if not present) the certificate of the relevant VOMS server to the directory
   =$INSTALL_ROOT/etc/grid-security/vomsdir=
      * Format of the file name is =voms.server.name.extension=, where the extension can be the serial number
      of the certificate or the date the certificate was issued (format =YYYY-MM-DD=).
      Either can be found in the output of this command:
      <verbatim>
   openssl x509 -noout -text -in The-new-host-cert
      </verbatim>
      * fix the ownership of the host cert:
      <verbatim>
   afs_admin s_o root:root $INSTALL_ROOT/etc/grid-security/vomsdir/The-new-host-cert
      </verbatim>

   * Add a line for the new VO in the file =$INSTALL_ROOT/glite/etc/vomses= to associate the VO to its VOMS server.
   * Add a file for the new VO in the directory =$INSTALL_ROOT/edg/etc/vomses= to associate the VO to its VOMS server.

   *  Add a directory =$INSTALL_ROOT/edg/etc/<VO-NAME>=
      * Create and edit the file edg_wl_ui.conf

   *  Add a directory =$INSTALL_ROOT/glite/etc/<VO-NAME>=
      * Create and edit the file glite_wms.conf
      * Create and edit the file glite_wmsui.conf

   * Set the variable VO_<VO-NAME>_DEFAULT_SE in the
   <verbatim>$INSTALL_ROOT/etc/env.d/lcgenv.(c)sh</verbatim> files

   * Synchronise as described [[LcgAfsUiSyncAfs][Syncronize read-only copy on AFS]] after [[#VoChecks][checking]]

---++ Checks to see if all went well

   * There should be a file containing the certificate for the VOMS server under <verbatim> $INSTALL_ROOT/etc/grid-security/vomsdir </verbatim>

   * There should be a directory =$INSTALL_ROOT/edg/etc/<VO-NAME>= containing the RB configuration file
      * edg_wl_ui.conf

   * There should be a directory =$INSTALL_ROOT/glite/etc/<VO-NAME>= containing the WMS configuration files
      * glite_wms.conf
      * glite_wmsui.conf

   * There should be a line corresponding to the new VO in the file <verbatim> $INSTALL_ROOT/glite/etc/vomses </verbatim> associating the VO to its VOMS server


---++ Reconfiguring an existing VO

To reconfigure parameters for a VO you must edit the following files directly

    $INSTALL_ROOT/edg/etc/<VO-NAME>/edg_wl_ui.conf
    $INSTALL_ROOT/glite/etc/<VO-NAME>/glite_wms.conf
    $INSTALL_ROOT/glite/etc/<VO-NAME>/glite_wmsui.conf

   * Synchronise as described [[LcgAfsUiSyncAfs][Syncronize read-only copy on AFS]] 
*Note*: Remember to change the corresponding variables inside the =site-info.def= file!
