Subject -------------------------------------
Plan is for testing with sites week of 4th July. Then run throughput week of 11th July.
Have a new timescale for Sept-Dec period. GDB on 20th July is timescale for decision of the scheduling for this period. Have three phases - test, integrate, stress test. With the first phase July/August
We need the services up in August for those who want to run in September at Tier-1s.
- Lassi
- What's the list of services needed?
- Jamie
- Haven't got the detail here, but it's basically LCG2_5_0, SRM1.1 with appropriate storage behind, LFC for sites running expts who want it, FTS for 4 sites who will be running Tier-2 transfers for throughput phase.
FTS Status: Waiting on some quickfixes
Jon Bakken: Problem with FNAL is due to hardware failure at Chicago.
Discussion on SRM +
AdvisoryDelete and how FTS would clean up - seems to be aconfiguration option in dCache and CASTOR on how advisoryDelete is implemented. Glite FTS team need to consider how to clean up and retry file transfers.
- Jamie
- Workshop - 1 in September + 1 before CHEP Mumbai in February September dates : week of 19th Capacity is 100.
- Lassi
- Space on castorgridsc for CMS files?
- James
- Take 2/3TB
- Lionel
- Should I start with FTS clients?
- James
- No, stay with srmcp from IN2P3 for now until we get a better FTS server.
- Lassi
- Need to clarify the schedule and overlap between Phedex and FTS during July for the throughput phase.
