Welcome to the ATLAS-CMS DM Forum / LHC Dark Matter Working Group Twiki Web

In January 2015, the ATLAS and CMS experiments have created an informal Dark Matter forum (LHC-DMF) to harmonize the Dark Matter benchmarks used by both experiments for Run 2. The forum will also address the presentation of results, particularly the comparison with non-collider experiments. The full goals of the forum are described in the Mandate.

The aim of this Forum is to actively work with the Dark Matter theory and experimental community, in order to finalize a set of recommendations for both the ATLAS and CMS experiments by February for the LHC Run-2 Dark Matter searches.

The LHC-DMF has now concluded its work, with an arXiv whitepaper with the recommendation of simplified models for early Run-2 searches: https://inspirehep.net/record/1381178/. This work forms the basis for the LHC Dark Matter Working Group.

The LHC Dark Matter Working group is a LPCC working group tasked with the harmonization of benchmarks, tools and presentation of results for LHC Dark Matter searches.
