Routing policies

  • Every member of the shared VLAN should peer with all the route servers
  • The route servers accept only the prefixes declared by the member
  • The route servers announce all the learnt routes to any member
  • Routing policies are declared in the AS20641 aut-num object defined in the RIPE database
  • BGP configuration examples for peering with the route server
