Clarifications for general information:

  • Covid-19-related measures imply that the original July deadline is not realistic. The new deadline for the complete first version of the documentation is the end of October 2020.
  • Our publication approach is in full agreement with LHCHXSWG policy. We plan to evolve from TWiki content to a write-up that can be classified depending on its quality as Internal Note (no submission to arXiv) or, with the appropriate additional steps (e.g. WG feedback and SC approval), as Public Note with arXiv submission. To avoid requiring ATLAS and CMS approval of our write-up, all collaboration members have been instructed not to use experiment-propietary tools.

  • Which models/EFTs should be investigated with what priority? (subgroup 1)
  • global EFT fits compatibility: tools to convert results and for validation
    • aim for compatibility and consistency early on; would be helpful to highlight issues with a concrete example

  • Event generators/programs comparison, recommended prescriptions, are they available in the experimental tool chains? (subgroup 2)

    • studied for tree-level processes w/ MadGraph, loop-level: only gg → H on-shell (125 GeV); EFT K-factor similar to SM K-factor; going beyond is complicated
