Measurement of the Masses and the Isospin Splitting of Σc Baryons


We present the measurement of the invariant masses of the Σc(2455)0/++ baryons, as well as their isospin splitting using the Run I dataset of the LHCb.

We added a small discussion of the respective equations to the Chap. 'Theory - Resolution of Invariant Masses'. The correction is outlined in Chap. 'Systematic Uncertainties', which was rearranged completely. This chapter is now divided into several sections and contains a summary table of all systematic uncertainties. We also added a small discussion about the contribution of asymmetries coming from third order terms in the parabola fit. Furthermore, we fixed spelling issues (e.g. the scaling of the y-axis of Fig. 3.11).
