Recent and Ongoing Modelling Studies

The more recent activity of the ttH/tH working group has focused on background Monte Carlo studies, in particular tt+b jets and tt+V (V->leptons) which represent the most important limiting backgrounds in measurements of Higgs-boson production in association with top quarks. In this context we have pushed two main initiatives: 1) the comparison of currently used Monte Carlo samples between ATLAS and CMS to establish a consistent baseline, 2) the study of the theoretical systematic uncertainty intrinsic to the use of different Monte Carlo event generators.
