Trigger statistics for the PhiPi line, Stripping20.

  • TCK=0x990042 (June 2012)
  • lumi = 0.318712 pb (just ran over one file from the SL stream)
  • The tables below list the fraction of stripped events corresponding to different trigger requirements.
  • With background subtraction. Example fit:

mu is L0MuonTOS 77.308%
D is L0HadronTOS 13.9169%
D is L0HadronTOS or mu is L0MuonTOS 80.8509%

So, L0Hadron adds very little. Suggest to stick with L0Muon

Now, after requiring the muon to be L0MuonDecision_TOS

Path Fraction
ANY HLT1 100%
mu is TrackMuonTOS 87.6832%
mu is TOS on TrackMuon OR TrackAllL0 88.0577%
D is TrackAllL0 TOS 55.8251%
mu is TrackMuon TOS OR D is TrackAllL0 TOS 96.218%

So, TrackAllL0 adds very little to the muon. However, there is 10% to be gained by including TOS on the D at Hlt1

Now, after requiring the muon to be L0MuonDecision_TOS and Hlt1TrackMuonDecision_TOS

B is TOS on Mu2Body 52.7239%
B is TOS on Mu2/3Body 72.8537%

D is TOS on 2/3 body topo 7.95678%
Phi is TOS on inc phi 30.2213%

  • Compared to the MuTopo, single muon adds 5%.
  • The inclusive phi adds another 2%.
  • In conclusion, the main place where we might be able to gain compared to the CONF result, would be to include the D (TrackAllL0) at Hlt1.
