Amplitude Analyses of B hadron decays to Open Charm

This is the B2OC subgroup focusing on amplitude analyses of B decays to charm final states.

Your current sub-group convener is Raúl Rabadán.

In principle this TWiki is a space for our entire sub-group. Feel free to edit it appropriately, or to provide any suggestion to the sub-group convener that could make this TWiki more useful.

It is also a place for the sub-group convener to organize and access information pertaining to our analyses, clearly and quickly, respectively.

B2OC AmAn meetings are currently on Thursdays at 15:30, every two weeks (on the weeks where there is no B2OC meeting).

In these meetings, everyone is encouraged to present and discuss their work at any stage (from planning, to the first plot, to being stuck half way through with a RooFit bug, to Nobel Prize acceptance speech). We would like to stress again that we do not expect fully polished presentations or final results. We encourage you to present intermediate steps and problems you are facing, as sometimes a fresh set of eyes can be very helpful.

We are open to anybody who wants to join, even if their analysis is not strictly B2OC.

Details about each meeting as they occur will be sent to the

B2OC AmAn mailing list (sign up) and the main B2OC group mailing list (sign up). Also, you may simply look at the LHCb weekly overview on Indico.

We have an ongoing Mattermost group conversation! Please join us here:

Any conversation relevant to the B2OC Amplitude Analysis is welcome here! Students and more experienced collaborators may ask questions and start discussions. An opportunity for all to learn, advise, and help.

Mailing List

We also have a sub-group mailing list. It is not used as often as our Mattermost group, but may be useful from time to time. Please sign up here:

The sub-group convener encourages you to send emails to this whenever you have a question or comment pertaining to the analyses in our sub-group.

B2OC AmAn-specific git repositories should be created in our GitLab group, discussed here. There is also an overall all B2OC git repository; you may use that one instead if you wish.

Ongoing Analyses

Analyses looking for new contributors
  • If you need contributors, please inform the sub-convener, and plan in due course to present the current state of the analysis in an B2OC AmAn meeting, so that is documented for anyone who may be interested in joining your effort.
