LHCb Computing Model
This page is a historical account of the changes & developments to the LHCb computing model.
Computing Model Documents
- The latest resource estimates can be found in the LHCbNationalComputingBoard pages.
- The requirements for streaming of the data at the Trigger/DAQ level as well as in the subsequent stripping were studied in 2006 by the streaming task force
- The computing TDR was submitted in June 2005. The original chapter from the TDR can be downloaded from here.
- The spreadsheet used to make resource estimates to 2013 for the TDR can be found here
- A pictorial representation, that should be read in conjunction with the TDR, of the dataflows & rate estimates for the first full data-taking year is also available.
- The computing model is also described in LHCb note LHCb 2004-119
- Earlier documents (up to 2001) can be found here
