Welcome to the LHCb Conditions Database Web Portal page
Introduction
The CondDB web portal interface is built on top of the
CondDB Release Notes page
and has a form of a menu to access all its functions:
CondDB Wep Portal menu
It's based on:
- JS
- HTML5
- CSS3
- JQuery(UI)
- TagCanvas library
Tags Assistant
Go to "Tag Assistant" menu, choose a partition to fetch the tags from as well as a type of a CondDB tag (global or local) you want to filter on:
CondDB WP Tag Assistant
A 3D cloud of known detector types (previously known as a data type) weighted by the level of their evolution will be presented in a modular dialog:
CondDB WP detector types dialog
Click a detector type of interest and a new non-modular dialog will display a set of tags known to be compatible with the detector type of your choice:
CondDB WP tags dialog
The cloud of tags is presented in the form of an open ring of ordered tags, weighted by color (according to the color-time gradient where the latest tag is at the red-end of the spectrum). At this point you can click on a tag which will scroll the Release Notes page to the tag so that you can see the details of the tag.

Deployment
Currently under development
Ariadne
A new system tracking the relationships in LHCb metadata can be accessed from here where the compatibility between the LHCb software and CondDB states can be investigated. The system is currently on its way to LHCb production.
