Subjects
News
- LCGCMT 58d
essentially ready (the announcement is delayed but the problem
observed in PyQt on Windows)
Should be announced and the problem fixed afterwards.
Round Table
Marco Cl.
- The AFS problem of few weeks ago caused disruption in the automatic Doxygen generation. Now restored.
Marco Ca.: this project should be used or abandoned. Hubert will fix the documentation links to point to the new directories.
- lhcb-lcg-head nightly slot is working again. The problem was due to the way shared files are installed on AFS in the LCG nightlies: only the first one is kept, which was failing. The mechanism we introduced (copy on success) should be used in SPI too.
Marco Ca.
- After the AFS problem, IT suggested to use backed up volumes also for the releases. To be investigated.
- Problems with the nightlies
- Mails are not sent
- Windows is not working (anymore)
- We need a VC9 build
- New spurious warnings from QMTest + Python 2.6
- Which is the status of the Data Quality flags?
Work ongoing.
- New twiki page for instructions on how to prepare a project release: PrepareProjectRelease
Nicolas
- Starting testing
pysvn
- Rob proposed that the tag collector can be used to tag the packages. It requires that the web server can tag/commit (and that everything is in SVN). The functionality should be available only to members of a dedicated e-group (Marco Cl. will investigate how to use SSO in a web application).
Hubert
- Prepared the code for testing with Coverity
- Problem with
SmartDataPtr::operator=()
, the Coverity support suggested to hide it to the Coverity tool with an #ifdef
.
- Preparing new LbScripts
- The removal of the read permission to
lhcbscripts
required a fix in StripPath and exposed a problem in GridEnv.
