  • Gaudi v22r2 to be tagged today
  • New version of tcmalloc (1.7) soon in LCG externals
    • It will be needed to integrate Chris' memory profiling auditor in GaudiProfiling
  • Shall we wait for an new LCGCMT (available in couple of days) for the release of Gaudi?
No: we have to possibility to have a new release around the middle of May, so we can pick up a new LCGCMT at that moment.
  • gcc 4.3.5 not yet available in the distcc cluster
  • Problems with the build of POOL in the LCG nightlies (may be due to the switch from LCGCVS to CVS)
  • Marco Ca.: a person from Rostock will join the core software group. He will not be full time at CERN except for two month starting from Tuesday. The initial duties will be:
    • release shifts
    • support for nightly builds and tag collector

Round Table

  • Coverity builds are running and they appear in the summary web page, but there have been failures today (triggered by the build problem with POOL).
  • Fixed the issue with the warnings that where not ignored (only the ignore strings were used and not the regular expressions).
  • A problem with Erasmus was reported, but actually it was due to a conflict with the name of the packages (two packages with the same name in different hats).
