- Martin Plajner is the new summer student
- he works on the implementation of tools to configure the environment in a platform-independent way and such that can be used with tools like CMT or CMake

- Marco Cl. will update the shared installation of Eclipse with the new plugins, so that everybody can profit from it
Note: the latest version requires some fixes in LbScripts.
- The plugins can be installed on local Eclipse installations following the instructions in EclipsePluginsTutorial.
- Preparing a copy of the basic Gaudi tutorials using Eclipse instead of Emacs

- Submitted abstract for ACAT about CMake configuration.
- Starting to work on the Gaudi patches (several new ones coming from Atlas)

- Witek's summer student is working on the interfaces to the generators
- discussion ongoing to properly support the multiple versions of HepMC

- Switch LbScripts v6r3 to "production" today (required to use the package CPConfig in production).
- Rob requested to use tcmalloc in production, but it requires the new version (1.7) not yet available in our releases.
- It is possible to deploy it using LHCbGrid, but we need to know how urgent it is or when it has to be available.

- Problems with CASTOR last week because of a misconfiguration of the firewall on the lxbuild machines.
- Preparing a twiki page to describe the requirements for the configuration of the build machines.
